Free Energy – “Hold You Close”
In rare form, Free Energy has released an acoustic song. Sure, this is just an in-store performance of the song, but I have a hard time believing that they would try and adapt to their typical energy-packed style found in abundance on their debut album, Stuck on Nothing. Don’t worry though (if you even were) this does not mean they’ve gone soft. Sam and I saw the band play a raucous set at the 400 Bar in Minneapolis a few weeks ago, which included several new songs that are equally catchy and spirited as their previous singles. Look forward to the band’s new album set to come out sometime this year.
