Tropic of Pisces – “Symmetry”

It’s been an awfully muggy week in Minneapolis, which makes the tropical nature of this song perfect. If you don’t live in Minneapolis or even Minnesota, that’s fine, because the song is also fantastic. In “Symmetry”, Matt Scheiner, the man behind Tropic of Pisces, subtly incorporates synthesizers into the genre more broadly defined as ‘world music’. You might normally here songs like this while taking a taxi to the beach on some tropical island. It’s fun, light-hearted and makes you feel like you should be smiling while wearing a swim suit or linen shirt from Tommy Bahama’s. Be sure to check out the rest the music Mr. Scheiner has available HERE and enjoy the song below!
