Jhameel – “The Long Run”

I’m not really sure how to characterize Jhameel’s sound. There are some retro-synths present, a bit of a Michael Jackson growl to his voice, autotune and melodies you might typically find in an Usher song. Although, somehow, as a whole, it ends up sounding like none of the things I just mentioned. I really like it. If you like it to you can grab the whole album for free at Jhameel’s website, but for starters have a listen to his track, “The Long Run” below.
