As Coldplay has now been touring for about two months in promotion of last year’s October release, Mylo Xyloto, they have been gaining rave reviews for most of the product that they have come up with. Their live performances being the top of the line with xylo-bands lighting up the crowds to go with the immense amount of energy that goes into their shows. Aside of the concerts, they have been putting out music videos for a few of the songs from the newest album. The fourth single and most recent video release as of yesterday is for Princess of China which features the vocals of pop star Rihanna, as the “Princess.” This video has gotten many mixed reviews since it’s release and from me it’s more of the same. The song and music are good though the video just seems like it lacks something for the amount of star power between Chris Martin and Rihanna. There is a lot of emotion in this song and the video tries to show that, I’m just not thrilled by it like I was for the “Paradise” video among others. Maybe it’s just me, have a look and let me know what you think!
