Robot Music!!

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to Robot Music. If this is your first time, I welcome you. If you are a returning customer, well I thank you. This week we have a few remixes, a preview of a new track, and a fantastic mash-up. So sit back, grab that favorite beverage, and enjoy some tunes.

A partir d’aujourd’hui nous avons un communiqué de toute nouvelle d’un aperçu de Monsieur Adi. Now I may have just plugged that into Google translator but it’s french. The reason is because today we have a new release of a preview from the french producer Monsieur Adi. Now although it’s just a preview, it gives me the opportunity to talk quickly about his EP called Fire Fire Fire that he released a few months ago. It’s a great electronic EP but what makes it awesome is that it incorporates aspects of classical music, making it very unique. Now it’s time to talk about his new preview that he just released. It’s a preview of a remix he did of Pyramid’s “Citizen” where once again he uses the piano. I’m really liking his style and really looking forward to his remix EP that he is dropping soon. I’ve included my favorite song from his EP, “Blood”, enjoy!

Next up is another remix or “bootleg”, which is another way of saying remix, this time done by a duo from NYC named Its Overture. It’s a remix of Diplo’s title track from his newest upcoming EP Express Yourself. They decided to throw in a famous Missy Elliot tune called “Pass that Dutch”. Now I was going to share it with you using the typical soundcloud but when they offer a version mashed together with a Doug video, how could I refuse that?

In my first robot post, in what feels like ages ago, I mentioned a Wolfgang Gartner song named “Redline”. Today, I have a mash-up done by one of my favorite producers, Alex McGhee, that combines that song with the popular “Hello” by Martin Solvieg. This mash-up is super catchy and I absolutely love it.

Not too long ago the electronic group Passion Pit released their newest single that is going to be featured on the album we have all been patiently waiting for. A few days ago, Peking Duk remixed “Take A Walk” and I knew I needed to share it with you. He decided to chop up the beginning a little and then added a sick synth line underneath, but don’t take my word for it, give it a listen.

Lastly, we have some wubs and womps. It comes from an Infected Mushrooms song named “Nation of Wusses” that has been remixed by StereoHereos. Now although I haven’t been a huge Infected fan, I have found myself listening to their newest stuff quite often and would encourage you to do the same. I also think you’ll enjoy this tune.
