3 Buck Chuck – Wednesday Edition

THE HOOD INTERNET
(Mash-Up)
As an homage to Joseph Kingston I decided to kick it old school and post a mash-up. Wiki wiki wednesday is the name of the game, but don’t get too excited. Only for the first song of the post. MTIB’s favorites, The Hood Internet, have mixed P.O.S.‘s cover of the Paul McCartney song, “Dear Boy”, with La Roux‘s “In For The Kill”. It’s absolutely delicious. Not a dance hit, but undeniably delightful. Enjoy it.
KANYE WEST & JAY-Z
(Rap/Hip-Hop)
If I did not love Jay-Z so much, I would probably have not posted this song because Kanye West has put on his best potty mouth for this one. Actually, both the boys do their fair share of swears… but who gives a flying fuck because the song is awesome. Not something I would choose to listen unless I was irked by something, but you have to admit it’s good. I’m looking forward to the joint album coming soon! Enjoy “H.A.M.” which is not referring to the sandwich meat.
STEEL TRAIN
(Indie Rock/Pop)
All I can say this song is extremely catchy. I took one listen for me to think, “Yep, this should be on MTIB today.” So here we are. This song is up on the site, and now I’m talking about it. Steel Train is a group from New Jersey that has been around since 1999, but clearly they’ve still got it. Take a listen to this anthemic track “Bullets”. Enjoy.
